What an awesome day at the city pond. In our area most of our cities have and fishing club for kids. I put my youngest daughter (7) in it and I became an instructor. I help 3 children including mine own what a great way to spend an evening. My own daughter caught 3 fish tonight. Fishing as taught her many things patience is one of many things. She casts her line out and then she sits and waits not to touch her rod at all. She will sit and talk about everything it is amazing what kids can tell you when they have someone there to listen. There are 2 others in the group I have been trying to find ways to help them understand that if they leave the bait in the water they have a better chance of getting a fish. I hope in the next few weeks they are all able to get at least one fish. I hope the next blog I write about the city fishing club says all the children in my group got a fish. Until then happy fishing!!!!
